Siraj Wahaj, Imam of Masjid Taqwa in New York is well known among Muslims in North America as a dynamic speaker and tireless supporter of Islamic causes. Imam Siraj Wahhaj, currently the Imam of Masjid Al-Taqwa in Brookyn, New York, accepted Islam in 1969. He received Imam training at Ummul Qura University of Makkah in 1978 and has gone on to become a national and international speaker on Islam.

Sheikh Muhammad Ruzwan, author and educational director of Isyllabus is a theologian and scholar. After undertaking Geopolitics and Arabic from the University of Glasgow, in 1993 he moved on to study with a variety of the world’s most dominant scholars and theologians in numerous Islamic countries. In the process, he began to study the Turkish language at the University of Ankara, Turkey where he achieved first place in his college. In his return to UK in 2007, he established his courses which became the most successful amongst religious study programs across the UK.

After converting to Islam in 1998, just from reading the Quran alone, he began his journey from studying under numerous teachers and scholars in the many disciplines of Islamic sciences. The Psychology major is currently pursuing his doctorate under one of the world’s foremost Scholars in the Quran and its diverse sciences. He had the intention of becoming involved in the ministry in preaching and teaching from an early age, and now travels the globe as a lecturer and caller to Islam.

Ibraheem Menk, born in Harare Zimbabwe, began his first Islamic studies with his grandfather Sh. Musa Menk. He completed his hifth under the supervision of Sh Musa and went on to study Arabic and other Islamic sciences with him. He then furthered his studies at the Islamic University of Madinah where he obtained a bachelors degree in the Shariah. He currently resides in Harare where he is Imaam and teacher at some of the local Masaajid.

Alima Ashfaq is a teacher by profession and a member of the Diplomas Department at the Islamic Online University. She has been studying Islamic studies with various Islamic Institutes and teachers for the past fifteen years and has actively been involved in the community working with several prominent organisations. She focuses on teaching the younger generation about islamic values by addressing controversial questions that non Muslims have about Islam and woman.

Ustaad Asim Khan is a famous public speaker, author of and is currently the Imam of Redbridge Islamic Centre. He has, from an early age, excelled in academic studies and has gained a master’s from University College London, UK in pharmacy, as well as studying Arabic and Quranic Sciences in Cairo, Egypt. Ustaad Asim has had a fascination in Tafsir studies and teaches the subject in London where he lives.

After graduating from Strathclyde University with an LLB (Bachelor of Law), he spent ten years studying the Arabic language and Islamic Sciences. During this period he obtained a BA (Hons) in Islamic studies from the University of Wales and then strengthened his studies by studying for four years with reputable scholars in the Middle East.

Abdur-Raheem McCarthy is an international speaker lecturing around the world at conferences. He was then accepted into the Islamic University of Madinah and enrolled into the Arabic Institute and then graduated from the faculty of Da’wah and Usool Ad-Deen. He has worked in the field of Da’wah alongside several prominent Da’wah organizations and in the field of Islamic education teaching Islamic studies in Sudan and Dubai.

Sheikh Muiz Bukhary is a scholar of Islam from Sri Lanka, who memorized the Noble Quran at the age of 14. He has spent ten years specializing in the field of classical Arabic, Islamic jurisprudence, and hadiths.  Currently he is a teacher of the Arabic language at the institute he graduated from; which is the international Islamic Institute of Colombo. He is also the Imaam of Khateeb of the Wellawatte Jumu’ah Masjid in Sri Lanka.

Omar Suleiman is an American Muslim scholar, civil rights leader, writer, and public speaker. He is the Founder and President of Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research, and an Adjunct Professor of Islamic Studies at Southern Methodist University. He began his journey in the early 2000 upon becoming certified in various traditional and Islamic sciences. He has since been serving in various charitable organisations, and been a guest in numerous events over the globe sharing his experiences building communities.
